We purchase high grade aircraft aluminium, heat it and smash it in a huge press to forge our shape and align the grain for ultimate strength. We then carefully CNC machine and anodize each part to that precise Lekkie fit and finish. These are the next level in chain rings from Lekkie. Driven by new 12 speed chains and a desire to create a more automotive quality part. A very carefully design tooth pattern helps create a smooth chain pick up especially on installations with bad chain line. These are compatible with the new Shimano 12 speed chain as well as KMC and SRAM Eagle chains. Because of the narrower tooth pattern, we recommend that Pro rings are only used on 10,11 and 12 speed chain. Lower speed bikes will have better chain retention with the classic Bling Ring. Just like the 40T, the 42T PRO Ring also features an external chain guide ring to give another level of chain retention and protect your pants from engaging the chain. Note: The PRO Ring’s have more offset than other Bling Rings so extra spacers may be required to clear wider chain-stays.
